Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta will be seeking to expend GH₵27.4bn for the first quarter of 2021 from January to March, a parliamentary document has stated.

This contained in the parliamentary order paper –a daily publication indicating business of parliament for the day’s sitting.

According to the order paper, the Finance Minister will seek approval to withdraw from the Consolidated Fund for the purposes of meeting expenditure necessary to carry on the services of the government in respect of the period expiring three months from the beginning of the financial year or on the coming into operation of the Appropriation Act in respect of the 2021 financial year.
